In his free time, Michael enjoyed, hunting, riding his motorcycle, and watching the Phillies play baseball, Go Phillies! Above all, Michael’s greatest pleasure in life was spending time with his family and friends. He then went on to work at Frankford Hospital as a CNA and Rockhill Mennonite Home as an LPN where he retired from. Michael was a Police Officer for nearly 20 years, serving in the 18th and 25th District of Philadelphia. Michael was a Vietnam Veteran and he proudly served in the United States Navy where he served as a boiler man on the USS John R Craig DD885 destroyer.

Michael graduated from Cardinal Dougherty High School in Philadelphia.
